Point-to-point control without deploying a LoRa network

Lux AITHA IoT identifies, monitors and regulates each compatible streetlight via a direct NB-IoT connection to the platform.

Each streetlight communicates on its own

An alternative for installations where it's better to avoid a LoRa network and its dedicated router.

Control, scheduling and monitoring over NB-IoT

Lux AITHA IoT controls via DALI, reports status, consumption and events, and receives scheduling from AITHANEX or your system.

  • Firmware LTE Cat NB2 via Quectel BC660K-GL.
  • Zhaga Book 18 4-pin connection and DALI control.
  • Ambient light sensor and consumption reading.
  • Local programming via USB and remote OTA updates.

When to choose Lux AITHA IoT

Suitable when each streetlight needs a direct connection and compatible NB-IoT coverage exists at the site.

Urban and rural lighting

Individual control of distributed points without installing a dedicated LoRa router.

Venues and car parks

Monitoring of outdoor streetlights in installations with compatible NB-IoT coverage.

Roads, tunnels and bridges

Remote scheduling and diagnosis of distributed light points.

Phased rollouts

Progressive onboarding of points without first building a LoRa network.

Preguntas frecuentes

How is it different from Lux AITHA LoRa?

Lux AITHA IoT uses NB-IoT: each light point connects directly to the mobile network, without needing an intermediate LoRa router. It's the option when you don't want to deploy your own LoRa network.

Do you need additional infrastructure?

Requires no intermediate LoRa router. Needs a streetlight compatible with Zhaga Book 18 and DALI, plus available NB-IoT coverage and service.

Is it compatible with existing streetlights?

Compatible with streetlights that include a Zhaga Book 18 connector and DALI control.

How is the data accessed?

Desde AITHANEX or the chosen management system, with status, consumption and alert data per point.
