Control each light point through Zhaga, DALI and NB-IoT

Architecture, connectivity, interfaces and deployment conditions for AITHA Lux IoT.

Device management funcional

Each node controls its streetlight and communicates directly over a compatible NB-IoT network, without Router AITHA IoT LoRa.

Processing and communication

  • ESP32-S3-MINI microcontroller.
  • Quectel BC660K-GL NB-IoT module.
  • Local scheduling and service via USB.
  • LoRa connectivity OTA mediante Things AITHA.

Streetlight interface

  • Zhaga mechanical format.
  • Connection 4-pin Zhaga Book 18.
  • Nominal 16 Vdc power supply from the Zhaga connector.
  • Control DALI via the Zhaga connector.

Technical capabilities

Control and scheduling

  • On, off and dimming.
  • Individual and group control.
  • Schedules, scenes, profiles and operation rules.

Status and sensing

  • Report of operation, consumption and events.
  • Fault detection based on the available signals.
  • Integrated ambient light sensor.

Firmware

  • LTE Cat NB2 via Quectel BC660K-GL.
  • Requires no LoRa network or dedicated LoRa router.
  • Integration with Things AITHA or with the system defined for the project.

Deployment conditions

Remote communication requires compatible NB-IoT coverage, permissions and proper configuration.

Coverage

The availability, bands and conditions of the operator's NB-IoT network must be validated at each site.

Streetlight

Installation requires a streetlight compatible with Zhaga Book 18 and DALI control.

Integration

The platform, permissions, scheduling and event management are defined for each project.
